Role Assignments & Permissions

The Role Assignments module allows administrators to control access levels across the Accountree platform. By assigning specific roles, you ensure that users only have access to the data and tools required for their responsibilities.


How to Access This Page

From the main dashboard sidebar, navigate to Settings > User Management > Roles & Permissions.

Assigning a New Role to a User

Follow these steps to update an existing user's access level or assign a role to a newly invited team member.

Locate the User

Use the search bar at the top right of the table to find the user by name or email, then click Edit.

Select the Role Dropdown

In the user profile modal, locate the Assigned Role field under the Security section.

Choose the Appropriate Role

The system displays a short summary of permissions for the selected role.

Save Changes

Click Save Changes at the bottom right of the modal. A success notification will appear.

Pro-Tip: Bulk Assignments

If you need to assign the same role to multiple users, use the table checkboxes and the Bulk Actions menu.

Important Note

Changing a user role to Administrator grants full access to billing, API keys, and module configurations. Grant this role only to trusted personnel.

Indicates that the user has 2FA enabled, required for high-privilege roles.
